Sunflower meal is the de hulled by product from producing Oil from Sunflower Seeds.
The meal is pelletised to improve density and handling.
Sunflower pellets are high in crude protein (36% min) and represent a cost effective source of protein. Sunflower pellets also present a high fibre content making them an ideal ingredient to be included in blended feeds.

As always, when introducing a new feed, start slowly at 0.5-1Kg per cow, per day and increase at a steady rate to maximum 4kg per cow, per day.
Sunflower pellets are suitable to be fed to lactating cows.
Sunflower pellets can be fed on the feed pad, in paddocks via trailer/trough or through in-shed feeding systems.
Like all feedstuffs, Sunflower pellets should be stored in a dry area free from vermin.
