PKE is a by-product of the expelling of palm oil from the palm kernel fruit of the palm tree. PKE is a good source of energy, fat and protein and can be fed throughout the season. PKE is typically supplemented to increase milk production and maintain and/or improve body condition score. PKE can be fed either directly to livestock or included as blend.

Enerpro recommends to feed PKE in conjunction with high energy feeds or supplement when pasture production is limited.
